This Privacy Policy explains how LiteCam X: Storage Cleaner (the "App") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information. The App is provided by the developer or seller identified on the App's App Store product page ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
LiteCam X: Storage Cleaner is an app for capturing, compressing, organizing, and cleaning photos and videos, and helping you manage device storage. The App does not contain ads and does not require you to create an account or log in to use its core features. We integrate certain third-party services for analytics, attribution, stability improvement, and subscription management.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, we may collect the following categories of information:
2.1 Information You Provide or We Access Through Permissions
l Photos and videos: When you grant photo library permission, the App can access media you select for compression, conversion, category review, saving copies, or deletion as you instruct.
l Camera and microphone: When you grant camera or microphone permission, the App can be used to capture photos and videos.
l Media you intentionally send to the App through the iOS share sheet.
We primarily process this media on your device. We do not upload your photos or videos to our servers unless necessary to perform a function you request.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:
l Device information: device model, operating-system version, app version, language, region, screen size, and similar information;
l App usage information: feature taps, page views, compression or cleanup actions, crash and performance data;
l Identifiers: device identifiers, app instance identifiers, advertising identifiers (such as IDFA, only if you authorize), and attribution identifiers;
l Subscription information: subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase and renewal events;
l Network information: IP address, approximate location (usually derived from IP), and network type.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
l We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number unless you contact us through the contact email.
l We do not require login and therefore do not collect account credentials.
l We do not use your photos or videos for advertising.
We use the information we collect to:
l provide, maintain, and improve the App's features;
l process compression, conversion, categorization, deletion, and storage management operations;
l manage subscriptions, process purchases, restore purchases, and prevent fraud;
l analyze app usage, measure marketing attribution, and optimize product experience;
l monitor crashes, diagnose issues, and improve stability and performance;
l comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We integrate the following third-party services. These services may process information under their own privacy policies:
l Adjust: used for marketing attribution, install and event measurement, and fraud prevention. Adjust may collect device identifiers, IP address, attribution information, and app events.
l Firebase: provided by Google, used for app analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and messaging. Firebase may collect device identifiers, app usage information, crash logs, and performance data.
l ThinkingData (数数): used for product analytics and user behavior statistics. ThinkingData may collect device information, app events, and usage data.
l Apple: used for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscription management, photo library, camera, microphone, and share sheet system services. Apple processes information under its privacy policy.
We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third parties to understand their data practices.
Subscriptions and payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your full payment card information. We may receive information such as subscription status, transaction identifiers, and renewal events from Apple and the analytics services described above to confirm your entitlements, manage subscriptions, and perform revenue analysis.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
l with the third-party service providers described above, for them to provide their services;
l with Apple, for app distribution, purchases, and subscription management;
l when required by law, legal process, security protection, or protection of rights;
l in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, as part of a transfer of assets, provided the recipient continues to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Analytics data is typically retained in aggregated or de-identified form. You can revoke permissions in iOS Settings to limit the App's access to photos, camera, or microphone.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure development practices. However, no method can guarantee absolute security. Please safeguard your device and Apple ID.
l Permissions: You can grant, limit, or revoke photo, camera, and microphone permissions in iOS Settings.
l Advertising identifier: You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings.
l Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
l Access, correction, or deletion: You can contact us using the details below to exercise your rights under applicable law.
l If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or another jurisdiction that provides privacy rights, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability.
The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us, and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Our third-party service providers may process information globally. If information is transferred outside your country or region, we will take appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our practices. We will update the effective date and make the revised policy available through the App or the Privacy Policy URL. Continued use after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
